Walkathon & Car Show Postponed to May 5, 2013 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE http://theyshallwalk.org/?p=1901
Seattle, Washington Oct. 5, 2012
They Shall Walk’s Walkathon, Rollathon & Car Show scheduled for this Sunday October 7, 2012 9am-4pm has been postponed until May 5, 2013. The primary concern that brought this decision about was the incredible increase in event insurance expense to meet the coverage needs of Sears corporate office. While the insurance requirement of Sears has not changed, the number of insurance companies capable of writing this type of insurance in Washington has. The insurance company previously used for events at Sears no longer does business in Washington.
They Shall Walk would like to thank Sears in Shoreline and Collins Insurance for their hard work to find solutions for the October event and look forward to the May 5th event at the Sears Plaza. They Shall Walk would also like to thank supporters, friends and volunteers and look forward to a fabulous event on Sunday, May 5, 2013.
They Shall Walk has developed the LIFESUIT robotic exoskeleton creating an industry
of robotic therapy devices while mentoring students from area high schools and colleges as interns. Students have hands on experience in the lab building robotic systems that improve the quality of life while learning real life skills that they will use on the job after graduation.

We first got three of the Accelerometer ‘Cubes’ a few years ago when they were new. They were a bit like the telephone companies first line of phones and Fords first line of cars that you could have in any style and color as long as you took the model A in black.
